A journey shared

CHASE hospice care for children shares the difficult journey faced by families with life-limited children and young people.

Every day those families have to cope with the knowledge that their child has a limited time to live. That is why every day is so precious.

For these families you cannot put off until tomorrow what you need to do today.

That is why CHASE is there for them, 365 days a year, 24 hours a day.

CHASE visits them at home and in their communities, where they are needed the most.

At Christopher’s children’s hospice, families can enjoy fun times and create important memories for tomorrow.

The whole family can spend time here together, while the CHASE team looks after their child’s care needs. Care is provided however it is needed- for example:

• Teenagers have a special soundproof Den with TV, DVDs and games.
• Brothers and sisters have their own music and arts workshops.
• Children and families can swim in the hydrotherapy pool or relax in the Sensory Room

CHASE offers a vital life-line to these families, at no cost to themselves. But CHASE is faced with its own challenge – to raise over £4 million a year so these families will never be let down.

Nearly all of this money must be raised through fundraising and general charitable donation.
